I have a trip planned for a few days, and it will likely interrupt my running schedule. Can I plan a few days of inactivity ahead of time and let the schedule adjust with that forethought? All I see is a way of marking inactivity in the past, which seems redundant because the log will already reflect that.
The Runcoach system is only able to recalculate the schedule for missed training dates in the past as opposed to future dates. The future training dates will then adjust to accommodate for the missed time.
While you are on vacation, do whatever training you can fit in. Try to prioritize the long runs and pace runs. Then when you return, just fill in the training you were able to accomplish on your Training page and click Adjust Schedule >
Recalculate (located in the upper right corner of the page.)
If you were not able to run at all, that’s fine. You can just click Adjust Schedule > Add Inactivity Period. A box will pop up asking what dates you were not able to run. Fill in the appropriate dates, and then click Save Inactivity Period. Your schedule will then adjust to account for the missed training time.
